Job Description:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Commercial Escrow Assistant
to support our escrow team on both commercial and residential transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to grow their career in escrow and title.
In this role, you’ll be a key player behind the scenes—helping ensure transactions move smoothly from opening to closing while delivering an exceptional client experience.
This position is fully in office, Monday-Friday, in Roseville, CA.
What You’ll Do
Support escrow teams with commercial and residential transactions, including opening orders, clearing liens, ordering demands, and distributing title commitments
Review title commitments/preliminary reports and resolve discrepancies, liens, and encumbrances
Communicate with clients, lenders, agents, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow
Assist in preparing closing statements, disclosures, and transaction documents in compliance with regulations
Coordinate signings (in-office and mobile notary) and assemble closing packages
Prepare funding packages and assist with disbursement of funds
Upload and maintain accurate documentation in electronic filing systems
Collaborate with internal departments including Title and Central Processing Units
Begin developing the skills to independently manage transaction components and problem-solve proactively
What You Bring
Experience supporting commercial escrow transactions (terminology, processes, and client expectations)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of escrow processes, closing documents, and basic title concepts
Working knowledge of accounting basics (debits/credits)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and exercise sound judgment
A commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and top-tier customer service
Preferred
Notary commission
Experience with title insurance policies and endorsements

Additional Details
Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (overtime as needed)
Primarily in-office with occasional travel for business or industry events
Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring strong multitasking skills

The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.
Position's Pay Range $35.00 - $42.00 an hour.
