Summary The Asset Management Specialist/Analyst executes daily asset management operations within system-driven environments, ensuring accurate asset tracking, reconciliation, and compliance with ServiceNow workflows and service-level requirements. This role supports inventory accuracy, data integrity, and timely system updates to maintain audit-ready asset accountability.
Responsibilities Essential Job Functions
Process asset updates via ServiceNow/SMP ticketing workflows
Perform daily reconciliation of asset movements, deployments, and returns
Support asset attestation tracking and compliance monitoring
Maintain accurate asset records within the system of record
Coordinate with Property Custodians and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Support barcode/RFID tagging and inventory activities
100% data accuracy for asset updates
Ensure completion of asset updates within 48-hour service-level agreement (SLA) requirements in accordance with ServiceNow workflow timelines
Support continuous process improvement initiatives and compliance with USPTO asset management policies and federal property accountability standards
Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges
Highly organized with great attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications
2-5 years of experience supporting asset management, inventory tracking, or system-of-record environments
Experience operating within ServiceNow or similar ticket-driven systems
Experience supporting data entry, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution within SLA-driven environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ServiceNow, RFID/barcode systems, and federal environment experience
