
Construction Superintendent

As a Construction Superintendent, you will help us reach our strategic growth goals by supervising all phases of the construction project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and supervise all construction activities for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications and schedules. Coordinate with project owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors to develop project plans, schedules, budgets and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Manage subcontractor performance, including monitoring work progress, quality and safety compliance, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise. Conduct regular site inspections and walkthroughs to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues or risks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Enforce project safety policies and procedures, conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety requirements. Manage project schedules and timelines, including coordinating work sequences, tracking progress, and updating schedules as needed. Resolve construction related issues and conflicts that arise during the project and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement solutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports and as-built drawings, and ensure that all project records are properly organized and maintained. Coordinate with project owners, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to address project needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture on-site. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience. 5+ years of experience in construction project management or related roles. Thorough knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques, including building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software / Procore and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and implement action plans. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks and managing project documentation. Large project experience preferred. ($20 M +) Ground up construction experience required. Diverse project experience important. Travel may be required. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License in good standing.
