Piper Companies is seeking a
Business Analyst (Consumer Lending)
to support a leading credit union undergoing a major digital transformation initiative. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in gathering requirements, translating business needs, and supporting the delivery of a new member loyalty program built on Salesforce Loyalty Cloud.
This position requires working onsite in McLean, VA at least three (3) days per week.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (Consumer Lending)
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across consumer lending and digital banking initiatives
Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery‑ready documentation
Partner with product owners, technology teams, and vendors to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery expectations
Support implementation efforts tied to Salesforce Loyalty Cloud, Experience Cloud, and mobile platforms
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful execution of deliverables
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand‑ups
Support testing and validation efforts to ensure solutions meet business requirements and objectives
Collaborate across cross‑functional teams to enhance processes, improve user experience, and drive adoption
Qualifications of the Business Analyst (Consumer Lending)
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting digital, banking, or financial services initiatives
Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and user story creation
Proven ability to work across business, product, and technical teams in a fast‑paced environment
Experience working in Agile environments and supporting cross‑functional delivery teams
Familiarity with Salesforce platforms, including Experience Cloud or Loyalty Cloud, preferred
Background in consumer lending, banking, or financial services strongly preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Compensation for the Business Analyst (Consumer Lending)
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 annually (or equivalent hourly rate for contract)
