Plumbing Designer
The Plumbing Designer will provide engineering and design support for various commercial, municipal, and institutional projects. Job Duties: Design of service water piping, sewage disposal systems, specialty piping, fire safety systems Verifying that designs meet local and national building codes Conduct predesign site visits to survey existing conditions, prepare preliminary drawings, and obtain necessary approvals Develop contract documents (calculations, design drawings, schematics, and details) for construction and will review submittals to verify conformance with those documents Conduct site observations to verify conformance with contract documents and building codes. Requirements: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred 2-4 years of commercial plumbing design experience (municipal and institutional project experience is a plus) Autodesk Revit proficient EIT preferred Excellent communication skills Pay Range: $60 70K, depending on experience For more information, please apply, and/or email a copy of your resume to Beka Cassidy at BCassidy@selectek.net.
