Job description
- This role will report into the VP of Production and Sourcing
- Oversee production across multiple factories.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and other paperwork is obtained in a timely manner
- Create and maintain production schedules to ensure all factories are on track for an on‑time delivery
- Have a strong understanding of cost implications associated with design changes and collaborate with the creative teams to ensure that the product still meets their vision.
- Monitor production quality and ensure that all requirements are met
- Resolve any production‑related issues in a timely and professional manner – collaborate with sales and design teams when necessary
- Negotiate with factories to hit better pricing, works with director of sourcing to cross‑source items and secure best prices
- Send price and margins for each worksheet to the sales and management teams for approval
- Proactively handle delivery extensions and shortages
- Track and Manage WIP report from the factory
Requirements and Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in production management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Excel
