Overview
NPG of Yuma-El Centro in Yuma, Arizona has an immediate opening for a full-time Sports Anchor. We’re looking for an articulate sports anchor that can produce and present multiple segments during our weekday newscasts using ENPS.
Responsibilities
Present sports in a clear, engaging and meaningful manner to our viewers.
Produce and present multiple segments during weekday newscasts using ENPS.
Shoot, write scripts, lead‑ins and other material.
Maintain and grow a strong social media presence across the station’s website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and personal professional accounts, posting content multiple times a day.
Qualifications
Passion for covering sports.
Strong social media presence.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Background in covering sports preferred.
Spanish proficiency is a plus (not required).
