Job Summary The Customer Service Representative at Sanford Maverick Air Center will greet customers, answer the telephone, and handle incoming fuel requests. The role demonstrates and upholds high standards of quality in workmanship and customer service, creating an environment where customers feel appreciated.
Responsibilities
Direct incoming calls and handle customer requests, ensuring ramp access security.
Coordinate line service calls and ensure all service requests, including fuel and other requests, are completed.
Process invoicing for front desk items and close service orders with payment via credit card, cash, or check.
Maintain accurate records in the point‑of‑sale system, including fuel pricing and inventory.
Handle fuel requests via internet, phone, and Unicom; call out service requests and respond to line service radio calls.
Procure rental cars, hotel accommodations, and catering for pilots, flight crews, and customers.
Create and maintain new accounts, keeping filing systems current and producing reports.
Update fuel price changes and perform fuel balancing and reconciliation of sales and truck sheets from the prior day.
Maintain a professional, clean working environment and uphold a professional appearance and attitude.
Assist with line lobby, conference room, and hallway upkeep; vacuum, mop, clean windows, dust counters, and ensure polished surfaces.
Check restrooms each shift to ensure supplies are stocked and the area is clean; maintain pilot lounge cleanliness.
Ensure courtesy coffee, tea, and ice water are available at all times.
Assist customers with baggage and vehicles, including pulling up rental and courtesy cars.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Customer service, clerical, and switchboard experience required, with the ability to handle customer interactions both in person and via phone.
