Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 40.00
Salary Range: $15.00 – $23.00 per hour
Job Summary The Customer Service Representative working in Sanford Maverick Air Center will greet customers, answer the telephone and handle incoming fuel requests. They will demonstrate and uphold Maverick Air Center's high standard of quality in workmanship and customer service, creating an environment where customers feel appreciated by giving exemplary service and acknowledging all pilots and customers upon entering or leaving the facility.
Responsibilities
Direct incoming calls and handle customer requests.
Ensure ramp access security and coordinate line service calls.
Computer invoicing of front‑desk items and closing service orders, including payment via credit card, cash or check.
Verify and update information in the computer‑based point‑of‑sale system upon arrival or departure.
Handle fuel requests via internet, phone and Unicom; call out service requests and answer radio calls from line service.
Procure rental cars, hotel accommodations and catering for pilots, flight crews and customers.
Set up new accounts; maintain records, reports and other clerical duties.
Update fuel price changes; balance and reconcile fuel sales and truck sheets from the previous day.
Cash handling and maintain a professional, clean working environment, including professional appearance and attitude.
Assist the line in maintaining the lobby, conference room and hallways, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, dusting and wiping down counters as needed.
Check all restrooms during each shift to ensure supplies are stocked and cleaned.
Maintain the pilot lounge’s cleanliness.
Ensure courtesy coffee, tea and ice water are available at all times.
Assist customers with baggage and pulling up rental and courtesy cars when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Customer service, clerical and switchboard experience required, working with customers both in person and via phone.
