Trade Reconciliation & Compliance Analyst

We are searching for a Trade Reconciliation & Compliance Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a 6‑month contract assignment (W‑2). You will be supporting trade reconciliation and SOX compliance operations across natural gas, power, renewables, and capital management desks at one of the largest energy companies. You will administer SOX compliance workflows for contracts and amendments.

Responsibilities

Captures trades into SOX Application and executes the end‑of‑day recaps and reports.

Verify Positions, monitors daily Value at Risk and other risk related measures.

Reconcile broker and other external statements associated with transaction.

Need to provide management with daily Profit and Loss and pricing information.

Need to handle Electronic Funds Sources and other clearing transactions.

Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects.

Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement.

Support the development and execution as needed for the trade capture platform in close collaboration with IT‑Team.

Requirements

Bachelor's preferably Accounting Major.

Excel based ad‑hoc reports development and automate them using macro as needed.

Must be able to balance analysis with clear communication and problem‑solving ideas.

Must be able to communicate the proposed solutions to management.

Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $23.00/hr. to $28.00/hr.
