
Maintenance Director - Full-Time 1st Shift

Summary of Position
Responsible for overall maintenance of the center and maintenance budget. Duties include preventive maintenance and repairs inside and outside the center to provide a safe, attractive and orderly environment for residents, employees and visitors. Conducts routine tests and inspections on center systems such as emergency generator, sprinkler systems, door alarms, call‑light system, hood/duct system and hot water systems. Responsible for fire drills and for initiating/updating fire and disaster preparedness plans.
Requirements
High School diploma (or equivalent)
At least 2 years of prior maintenance experience
Valid driver’s license
Satisfactory driving record with no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years
No record of reckless driving or DUI/DWI in the past 7 years
Competence in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plastering and painting
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English
Computer proficiency with Microsoft products
Able to work on‑call
