The rate of pay is $12/hr + variable income from commission, lessons, etc. We are looking for candidates who are pursuing a PGA Golf Management or Sports Management degree.
The goal of our program is to provide each student with a unique learning experience. During an internship at Reynolds Lake Oconee , you will be exposed to the different facets of a multi course operation. Each intern will be assigned to a “home” course. Internship Students will be exposed to all aspects of golf operation, depending on what level of internship this will include:
Maintenance Retail Group Golf Tournament Director Food & Beverage Accounting Human Resources Kingdom of Golf Taylor Made Performance Lab
Reynolds Lake Oconee Golf Operations Internship Students will also attend 1 or 2 seminars, these include:
Leadership—Senior Management
Responsibilities—Level I and II Outside Operations Tournament/Corporate Event Facilitation Junior Clinics
Responsibilities—Level III Supply Levels Opening & Closing Procedures Outside Operations Tournament/Corporate Event Facilitation
PGA-PGM Education Reynolds Lake Oconee will assist with the completion of work experiences through goal setting, study groups and individual meetings.
Goals will be set with Head Professional Monthly review of goals with Head Professional Study Groups with Assistant Professionals
