Private Equity Associate

My client, a lower middle market private equity firm based in Nashville , is seeking one Associate to join their small, highly engaged team. This is a hands‑on role offering broad exposure across all aspects of investing and portfolio management, including attending portfolio company board meetings, with direct mentorship from senior team members.

Ideal Background

• 2‑3 years of investment banking experience
• Exposure to Business Services is a plus

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior team members on deal execution from start to finish
• Conduct diligence and prepare investment memoranda
• Attend portfolio company board meetings and gain firsthand operational insight
• Support marketing, fundraising, and investor communications
• Receive mentoring and guidance directly from Partners and Principals
• Take on meaningful responsibility in a collaborative, growth‑focused environment
