Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexible; occasional overtime possible) Overview This role focuses on conducting workplace investigations related to employee relations matters within production and facility environments. The position supports a high-volume, fast-paced setting involving unionized employees and requires strong judgment, discretion, and knowledge of employment law. Key Responsibilities Conduct investigations into employee complaints including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace conflict, and policy violations Develop investigation strategies, including interview planning for complainants, witnesses, and respondents Gather and analyze facts to reach unbiased, evidence-based conclusions Prepare detailed investigative reports and present findings to stakeholders Recommend and implement disciplinary actions in alignment with company policy and applicable labor agreements Issue disciplinary outcomes such as warnings, suspensions, or terminations and document decisions appropriately Handle grievances and assist in negotiating and documenting resolutions when necessary Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, HR, security, and leadership Ensure compliance with employment laws including ADA, EEOC, FLSA, and NLRA Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all matters Qualifications 3+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, legal, or workplace investigations Strong knowledge of employment law and investigation processes Excellent written communication skills (report writing is critical) Strong verbal communication and ability to interact with all organizational levels Analytical thinking and sound judgment in complex situations Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously High level of discretion and confidentiality Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Benefits
