
Employee Relations Assistant

Were partnering with a healthcare organization seeking an Employee Relations Assistant to support HR operations through high-volume employee support and inquiry resolution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and providing accurate, timely support in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Be Doing Serve as a Tier 1 point of contact for employees, responding to HR-related inquiries via phone and email Handle employee relations-related questions, triage issues, document interactions, and follow up as needed Manage a daily volume of approximately 2030 calls, depending on seasonality Review multiple systems and data sources to provide accurate and consistent information Maintain detailed, organized records of employee interactions and case activity Collaborate closely with a team to ensure timely and effective support
What Your Work History Should Show Experience in HR support, call center, or customer service environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive employee inquiries professionally Ability to navigate multiple systems and manage competing priorities High attention to detail and accuracy when documenting and sharing information Comfort working in a fast-paced, phone-based environment
Additional Details Location: Tacoma, WA (5 weeks onsite training; remote thereaftermust live within commuting distance) Schedule: Training hours MondayFriday, 7:30 AM4:00 PM; post-training schedule 10:00 AM6:30 PM (some flexibility) Pay Rate: $23.00$30.00 per hour DOE Employment Model: Temporary (potential for extension) Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check and provide proof of flu vaccination
