Customer Order Process Manager
This is not a call center role. You will own the customer order process from start to finishfrom receiving orders to ensuring they are scheduled, shipped, and delivered accurately. You'll be the point person making sure customer orders move, not just answering questions. Key Responsibilities
Process and enter customer orders accurately into the system (high volume, detail-critical) Communicate directly with customers on:
Order status Pricing and availability Shipping timelines and delays
Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, production, shipping) to ensure orders are fulfilled on time Expedite urgent orders and resolve issues that could delay delivery Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and customer concerns Track and manage multiple orders at different stagesnothing falls through the cracks on your watch What We're Looking For
Experience processing customer orders, not just answering phones Comfortable working in a system/ERP (order entry, tracking, updates) Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities at once Strong attention to detailaccuracy matters here Proven ability to communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams What Will Make You Stand Out
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or order-driven environments Background in inside sales, order management, or sales support Experience handling pricing, scheduling, or expediting orders Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED equivalent QUALIFICATIONS Basic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be self-directed while performing daily duties Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and make responsible decisions in a fast-paced environment Due to the business necessity of communication, safety and production, candidates must be able to speak, read and write English
