Overview
Position:

Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative (Spanish/English)

Location:

100% Remote

Pay:

$20.50/hr. plus Fringe Health & Wellness at $5.09 hourly up to 40 hours max per week)

Schedule:

40 hours/week (M-F) between 6 AM - 7 PM AZ time (Must be available to work an 8-hour shift within that range)

Duration:

6-month contract with possible extension or conversion to Perm.

Position Overview:

The Bilingual Healthcare CSR will handle inbound calls and chats related to healthcare services, including authorizations, eligibility, claims status, and appointment coordination. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls, chats, and occasional outbound calls in a high-volume call center

Assist with healthcare-related inquiries, including authorizations, eligibility, claims status, and provider information

Support appointment scheduling and coordination

Accurately document all interactions in internal systems

Maintain a strong focus on first-call resolution and customer satisfaction

Meet and exceed performance metrics, including QA, AHT, and schedule adherence

Navigate multiple systems while managing customer interactions efficiently

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy standards

Required Qualifications

Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written)

Minimum 2 years of call center experience in a metrics-driven environment

Strong understanding of call center performance metrics (QA, AHT, adherence)

Experience using multiple systems and Microsoft Office tools

High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare customer service experience (payer or provider side preferred)

Experience handling high-volume call environments
