Lead QA Engineer, Salesforce in Irving, TX at Lennar Lead the quality engineering efforts for Salesforce applications, ensuring high standards of testing, automation, and process excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute test activities for Salesforce Apps, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce integrations, and Lightning.

Analyze requirements, design documents, and use cases to develop, modify, and execute test plans, scenarios, and cases that satisfy functional requirements.

Define, build, modify, and execute automated regression tests using tools such as Provar, Selenium, and UFT.

Adhere to best practices in testing and automation, continuously improving quality and productivity.

Manage defect reporting and test execution tracking with Jira, TestRail, ALM, and Agile Accelerator.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, leads, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.

Maintain documentation of test results and execution status, communicating to IT stakeholders.

Track quality assurance metrics, including test execution percentages, first‑time pass rates, and defect densities.

Keep current with progressive technologies and self‑motivate to learn new methodologies that enhance performance.

Mentor junior testers, building the skills of less experienced team members.

Anticipate cross‑functional business and testing issues, solving complex problems and recommending innovative solutions.

Lead multi‑disciplinary test planning initiatives with significant risk, complexity, and impact.

Develop end‑to‑end test scenarios across services, workstreams, and applications.

Provide thought leadership in areas of expertise, suggesting process improvements.

Inspire strategic thinking, negotiation, and influence across the organization.

Build relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a trusted expert.

Conduct peer reviews of testing deliverables to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

Assist in conceptualizing the quality architecture.

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of software quality experience in a fast‑paced environment across the full SDLC.

Expert in automation, black‑box testing, white‑box testing, and performance testing.

Strong experience with Salesforce and SaaS/Cloud applications.

Experience with DevOps/CI‑D processes.

Proficiency with test execution, defect reporting tools, and methodologies.

Ability to influence senior leaders across the organization.

Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and the distinction between standard and custom features.

Skill in writing complex SQL queries for test validation.

Capability to provide accurate project estimates and timelines.

Proven test experience on complex, multi‑technology platforms and systems.

Strong organizational and analytical skills with great attention to detail.

Expert level knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.

BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Experience with Kanban and/or Scrum Agile methodologies.

Ability to interact effectively with non‑technical business users.

High self‑motivation to learn new methodologies and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Salesforce Administrator or CPQ certification.

Hands‑on experience developing automated tests using Selenium/Provar.

Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications/systems.

Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool.

Web services testing (REST/SOAP).

Use of other testing frameworks.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Primarily a sedentary office position. The incumbent must be able to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move, and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is required. Up to 25% travel is required.

Additional Requirements These qualifications address additional attributes that will enhance the Associate's ability to perform a particular function, but are not required.

Remote & Onsite Requirements This role is primarily remote. Candidates residing within a 50‑mile radius of Irving, TX or Miami, FL—or within commuting distance of any Lennar hub—are expected to work onsite at least three days per week, or as directed by the manager.
