Associate Sales Representative – Trauma (Boston, MA)

What you will be doing You will support the Trauma Sales team within an assigned territory with installations, troubleshooting and maintenance, demo inventory setup, and customer in‑service. Additional responsibilities may include transporting customer inventory between accounts and covering surgical cases for sales reps within certain accounts. You will study technical information and surgical procedures in the Trauma Orthopaedics product portfolio, specializing in solutions for internal and external fixation to restore the function of the injured body part(s) quickly and effectively. The territory you support will participate in a 24/7 call rotation.
What will you need to be successful You must have technical expertise in the Trauma Orthopaedics portfolio and the ability to build positive relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel, while assisting and training them on the proper use and care of product equipment. You will support the Sales Representative to generate revenue and meet or exceed the territory’s quota.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum two years of sales experience
Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or experience as an EMT/Paramedic, Surgical Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, Operating Room Aide, or athletic trainer
Proven track record selling or converting business at the surgeon or hospital level
Experience leading or mentoring team members
Travel Requirements Within designated sales territory with 2‑4 overnights a month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences.
All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities must successfully complete our credentialing process, including COVID‑19 vaccine management.

Compensation The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $65,000 USD annually. Base pay is determined by job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity. Candidates may also earn sales commissions and incentives based on set targets.
