
Assistant Real Property Manager
Chesterfield County, Richmond, VA, United States
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, real estate, engineering or a related field; four years of experience in acquisition, disposition or appraisal valuation of real property, including one year in a lead or supervisory role. Current valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Must meet Virginia DMV demerit point requirements and provide a driving record with at least three years history and records dated within thirty days of interview. Pre‑employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
Duties Assist with the management and direction of Real Property staff in acquisition of easements and property for public facilities, manage county property and easements, license use and disposal of property and easements no longer needed, process state road abandonments, dedicate real property rights associated with private development, review commercial site plans, residential subdivision plats, road improvement and linear projects, and associated engineering, survey, and legal documents. Assist management in strategic planning and the development and implementation of policy. Perform other work as required.
Shift & Location Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Work Location: Utilities Department, Chesterfield County, VA.
