What you will be doing: The Provider Relations Specialist contributes to the overall success of the team by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, provider training and project coordination throughout the process and full cycle scope of services in coordination and billing. The incumbent will be responsible for providing Provider Relations administrative support and coordination of associated documentation for all DME & Home Health downstream providers of our portfolio of business.
What you need to succeed:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree plus two (2) years of work experience with a plan payer, in health care, or a related field with Provider Network Development and/or Provider Relations. Two (2) years of experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge and understanding of managed care concepts.

Ability to handle conflict and diffuse confrontational situations, Demonstrate accountability and dependability
Effective interpersonal skills characterized by articulateness, diplomacy, and the ability to persuade and motivate others

Works well in a team environment and collaborates effectively with others
Self-motivated and demonstrates a sense of urgency and commitment prioritizing organizational needs.
Ability to be resourceful and creative within defined guidelines, parameters and expectations.
