Overview Synertex is seeking a Records Management / FOIA Specialist to support federal records processing, FOIA requests, and compliance with records management regulations.
Responsibilities
Process FOIA and Privacy Act requests
Review, redact, and prepare documents for release
Maintain records in compliance with federal regulations
Utilize systems such as Salesforce for tracking requests
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather responsive records
Support records digitization and document management efforts
Ensure compliance with NARA and federal records policies
Required Qualifications
3+ years of FOIA, records management, or related experience
Experience with:
FOIA and Privacy Act processes
Records management systems
Document review and redaction
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Qualifications
Salesforce experience
Records digitization/scanning experience
Knowledge of federal records retention policies
Preferred certifications: TIL v4; Salesforce Admin; IAPP CIPP/G (Certified Information Privacy Professional - Government)
