Position
Associate Director, HRBP for Corporate Function, providing strategic people partnership to senior leaders across the Business Insights & Technology Organization and Law & Policy department. This role serves as the Strategy & Operations leader for the Corporate Functions, collaborating with People Organization and Centers of Expertise (CoEs) to drive alignment, strategy and consistency across Corporate Functions. This role provides HR leadership in driving people strategy, workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, team effectiveness, and change management.
Position Responsibilities
- Provides strategic HR Business Partnering to selected Business Insights & Technology and Law & Policy teams to maximize organizational performance.
- Leverages business strategy, people strategy, external best practices and organizational insights to deliver organizational and talent solutions, including organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and culture change.
- Aligns corporate and functional strategies with BMS people strategy, monitoring effectiveness of programs through metrics and analytics to add value to the business.
- Collaborates with Centers of Excellence to monitor external environment and define future workforce requirements, articulating People needs and deploying programs to bring value.
- Drives collaboration as ONE People team; guides HR Business Partners, COEs and People Services leaders for effective global deployment of People activities.
- Analyzes data and trends to drive organizational effectiveness and develop a workforce plan aligned with business goals.
- Supports succession planning, talent retention, and pipelining as needed for external talent.
- Serves as strategy & operations leader for the corporate functions HRBP team, driving alignment and collaboration across the team.
Additional Responsibilities

- Translates business strategy into organizational design, inclusion and diversity, succession & talent management, and culture change.
- Collaborates with the People OP Model (CoEs, People Services) to deliver value across the enterprise.
- Applies data insights to support talent and organization decisions; contributes to workforce planning, engagement strategies, and succession management.
- Shapes and leads change management to ensure delivery of solutions and programs.
- BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred; 7–10+ years HR experience.
- Proven leadership in followership, people programs, executive coaching, and complex project management.
- Expertise in talent management across end-to-end processes and diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Experience using data and analytics to drive business and talent decisions; data analysis, visualization and diagnostics.
- Strong behavioral skills: curiosity, learning agility, growth mindset.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and its human implications.
- Strategic thinking with demonstrated impact on business strategy through people strategy.
- Extensive experience partnering with global, diverse teams; operating in matrixed environments; leading cross-functional collaboration.
- Independent decision-making within defined parameters; collaboration with management and HR colleagues to resolve issues.
Primarily works in an office environment, with 50% time in the office.
Compensation & Benefits
Princeton, NJ, US: $161,840 - $196,112. The starting compensation range is for full-time employees; additional incentives may be available. Final compensation is based on experience.
