About the Role
The Sales Operations Consultant plays a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales organization. This role is responsible for analyzing sales data, optimizing processes, supporting quota and territory planning, and ensuring the sales team has the tools and insights needed to perform at a high level.

Responsibilities

Analyze sales performance metrics and trends to support decision‑making and forecast accuracy.

Create goals, processes, and reporting for service warranty conversion and service contract renewals.

Support field processes such as quarterly business reviews and other corporate initiatives.

Maintain and improve CRM data integrity, pipeline hygiene, and reporting accuracy.

Support sales planning processes, including territory assignments, quota setting, and compensation modeling.

Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and performance KPIs.

Partner with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR) to align strategies and share insights.

Assist with Salesforce optimization, user training, and tool implementation projects.

Identify bottlenecks and opportunities in the sales process; propose actionable recommendations.

Support ongoing initiatives related to sales enablement, compensation, and forecasting.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

Strong skills in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Benefits & Compensation
Salary range for U.S. locations (USD): $144,800.00 – $217,200.00.

The position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
