Pricing Analyst

Canon USA in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst (Analyst, Pricing). The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for managing pricing strategies and dealer compensation for new products, promotions, and programs. Supports pricing approval processes, ensures pricing accuracy, and delivers sales trend analysis. Works to improve pricing processes and consistency, with guidance from management.
Full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring presence in the office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday with option to work from home remainder of week. Note that work schedules may change based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Analyze profit to determine acceptable pricing for Canon USA and partners while assessing competition and customer environment.
Ensure product knowledge is accurate to offer correct products.
Maintain price files with required changes after contract award.
Work with partners to determine competitive service pricing and manage print and professional services.
Coordinate product launches and publish price lists with product marketing, contracts team, and inventory management.
Use Service Planning Division tools to evaluate profit thoroughly.
Recommend pricing and dealer compensation for review and approval by management.
Apply analytical, decision‑making, project management, planning, organization, communication, and relationship building skills; proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent experience; 3 to 5 years of related experience.
Analytical, decision‑making, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Google applications a plus.
Anticipated salary range:
$66,300 – $81,550
annually.
