Role Overview
Regional Carrier Representative – responsible for connecting qualified carriers with freight, building carrier relationships, and ensuring freight moves efficiently across the country. Responsibilities
Contact existing, inactive or potential carriers. Negotiate rates with carriers and maintain pricing and rate competitiveness. Sell assigned transportation solutions to carriers. Dispatch qualified carriers to available freight, providing information and support. Update computer system and carrier trip details. Manage a book of business worth more than a million dollars annually. Act as liaison between carriers and shippers. Qualifications
Strong communicator: persuasive, professional, and confident. Comfortable handling outbound and inbound calls and customer meetings. Experience in customer service or transferable skills. Organized, disciplined, and proactive with follow‑through. High sense of urgency. Tech‑savvy; familiar with CRM tools. Compensation & Benefits
Base salary $40,000–$46,000 DOE with incentive pay potential $20,000+. First‑year training incentive of $6,000. Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays. Professional training and development opportunities. Career growth pathways with potential leadership roles.
