Property Administrator - Commercial (Part-time)
We work with a growing commercial real estate team that is looking for a dependable
Property Administrator
to support daily operations across a portfolio of commercial properties. This role is well-suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable juggling administrative, financial, and tenant-facing tasks in a fast-moving environment. This is a part-time role with a very flexible schedule of 20-25 hours per week. Salary is dependent on experience and will be $60-65k. It is fully in office in Rockville, MD. This is a temp-to-hire or direct hire role for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
Provide general administrative support to property management personnel
Maintain property records including leases, contracts, insurance, and vendor files
Serve as a first point of contact for tenant questions, requests, and service issues
Prepare and distribute routine tenant communications and notices
Assist with invoice processing, rent billing, collections support, and expense tracking
Help keep lease information accurate and current, including key dates and renewals
Support vendor coordination, contract tracking, and compliance documentation
Assist with reporting, budgeting support, and other operational projects as needed
What We're Looking For
Prior experience in commercial real estate, property management, or a related administrative role
Basic understanding of leases, property operations, and financial processes
Comfort working with spreadsheets, documents, and property management systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional communication style and customer-service mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while working as part of a team
