Role Overview You will be entrusted with advising on the benefits and compensation aspects of high-value corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. The position offers consistent exposure to nuanced, detail-driven work and the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior practitioners on structuring and executing complex arrangements.
Core Responsibilities Lead and support analysis of employee benefit and executive compensation considerations in transactional contexts Advise on the structuring, implementation, and governance of compensation and incentive programs Conduct diligence and risk assessment related to benefit plans in corporate transactions Draft, review, and negotiate detailed corporate and transactional documentation Manage multiple concurrent work streams with precision and strong commercial awareness Engage directly with clients to provide clear, strategic guidance
Experience Sought Juris Doctor (JD) with an active license in good standing in a relevant jurisdiction 4+ years of experience in employee benefits, executive compensation, and transactional support Demonstrated exposure to M&A-related benefits and compensation matters Strong drafting and analytical capabilities across complex legal documentation Commercially minded with a disciplined, detail-oriented approach Able to work autonomously while contributing to a high-performing team
