Remote Conversion Marketing Manager (Email Marketing)

Job Description The Lifecycle & Conversion Marketing Manager owns the strategy, messaging, and execution of lifecycle programs that convert audience engagement into pipeline and revenue. In a content‑led growth model, this role designs and optimizes end‑to‑end journeys across the funnel—from first touch through conversion, adoption, and expansion—ensuring every interaction drives measurable business impact. This role requires strong writing and conversion‑focused messaging skills.

Key Responsibilities

Own and optimize conversion paths across the full lifecycle (Lead → Freemium → Paid → Expansion).

Design and execute multi‑step lifecycle journeys, including post‑download nurtures, webinar follow‑ups, re‑engagement, onboarding, and expansion campaigns.

Turn high‑value content (webinars, reports, guides) into structured conversion programs aligned to buyer stage.

Own lifecycle messaging and email strategy; write or heavily edit all nurture and conversion communications.

Partner cross‑functionally with Content, Product Marketing, Paid Marketing, Data Ops, and Email teams to drive conversion.

Analyze funnel performance, identify drop‑offs, and continuously improve conversion rates through testing and experimentation.

Support post‑sale growth through onboarding, adoption, and upgrade journeys in partnership with Product and Customer Success.

Skills and Requirements

4–7+ years in lifecycle, growth, email or conversion marketing

Exceptional conversion copywriting and lifecycle messaging skills

Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Experience interpreting Tableau reports (not creating the reports)

Ability to analyze funnel performance and optimize based on data

Experience with freemium or product‑led growth models

CRO and experimentation experience

Background in content‑led or content‑driven growth strategies

Familiarity with product marketing and positioning

HubSpot or Marketo experience
