River of Life is a growing church in the midst of renewal. We are looking for a worship director to grow with us. River of Life is anticipating continued growth and needs a leader to help take some of the burden the Lead Pastor currently carries as the primary worship leader and keyboard player. The position will begin as part time, requiring the candidate to be local to Southeast Ohio.
Responsibilities
Help modernize the worship department, including overseeing the worship team.
Plan weekly services using Planning Center and EasyWorship.
Provide chord charts and train musicians to work together.
Possess knowledge of live stage technology such as sound, video, and streaming.
Work with the senior pastor to develop every aspect of the weekly worship experience and create an authentic, dynamic atmosphere.
Spiritual
The worship director must model a life of integrity and spiritual maturity. The candidate will function in the role of associate pastor and be responsible for ministry to the team he/she leads.
Credentials
While COG credentials are not a must to begin, we prefer a candidate who is interested in attaining credentials and who is a COG team player.
Future
Our goal is to move this position to full time as the demands of ministry and growth of the church make possible.
