Account Executive in Training - Lexington, KY

As an Account Executive in Training, you’ll receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced team members. You’ll learn how the freight brokerage business works, support existing customer accounts, and gradually build the skills needed to manage your own clients over time.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn the ins and outs of freight brokerage through training and on-the-job experience
  • Build relationships with drivers, carrier partners, and customers
  • Help coordinate shipments and solve problems as they come up
  • Support an Account Executive’s current customers and accounts
  • Make calls to carriers and potential customers to help keep freight moving
  • Over time, take on more responsibility and work toward managing your own accounts

Compensation:

$18/hr to $22/hr. (base)

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
