Corporate Paralegal

CBIZ Talent Solutions is partnering with a national law firm in the search for a Corporate Paralegal for their Downtown Los Angeles, California office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of corporate experience from a mid-size to large law firm and an ABA approved paralegal certification. This is a hybrid position that offers two remote days per week once trained. This position will involve matters related to venture capital financing, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and publicly and privately traded securities.
Duties
Drafting and reviewing organizational documents
Preparing and filing UCC financing statements
Assisting with due diligence, including preparing, reviewing, and commenting on due diligence documents
Maintaining client minute books and stock ledgers
Preparing and filing documents with government agencies, such as the SEC, IRS and Secretaries of State of multiple jurisdictions
Drafting contracts
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
3+ years of corporate paralegal experience from a mid-size to large law firm
ABA approved paralegal certification
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Must be detail oriented with an analytical mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000 DOE.
MUST BE ABLE TO PHYSICALLY WORK IN OFFICE IN DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES 3 DAYS PER WEEK ONCE TRAINED.
