Middle Market Commercial Relationship Manager Fort Lauderdale, FL FinTrust Connect has partnered with a well capitalized regional financial institution to identify a Middle Market Commercial Relationship Manager for the Fort Lauderdale and Broward County market.

This is a strong opportunity for a proven commercial banker who understands Broward's business community and can build trusted relationships with privately held companies, family owned businesses, operating companies, entrepreneurs, and middle market clients.

What you will do

Originate, build, and manage middle market commercial banking relationships throughout Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, and surrounding South Florida communities.

Develop new loan, deposit, treasury, and full relationship opportunities.

Build an active pipeline through direct outreach, COI relationships, client referrals, market intelligence, and consistent calling activity.

Serve as a trusted financial advisor to business owners, executives, and privately held companies.

Analyze financial information, cash flow, credit risk, collateral, guarantor strength, and business performance.

Structure commercial credit solutions in partnership with credit and portfolio management teams.

Identify cross sell opportunities across treasury management, deposits, lending, capital markets, and broader banking services.

Partner closely with credit, underwriting, treasury, portfolio management, and local leadership to deliver a high quality client experience.

Maintain market visibility and represent the bank with credibility and professionalism.

What we are looking for

7 plus years of commercial banking, middle market banking, C&I banking, corporate banking, or senior business banking experience.

Established business development track record in Broward County or the broader South Florida market.

Strong credit and cash flow analysis skills.

Experience managing commercial relationships with privately held businesses and operating companies.

Strong understanding of C&I lending, working capital lines, term debt, treasury management, deposits, and full relationship banking.

Ability to build business through COIs, referrals, direct calling, and market presence.

Strong client advisory skills and ability to communicate with business owners and executives.

Comfort working cross functionally with credit, treasury, underwriting, portfolio management, and leadership.

Strong reputation, high integrity, collaborative style, and low ego approach.

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
