Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Benefits Specialist
to support a high-impact, project-based initiative within the Total Rewards function. This role focuses on the critical auditing and analysis of benefits vendor invoices against internal eligibility and enrollment data. The ideal candidate is a hands-on analyst who can identify discrepancies, drive financial alignment, and implement process improvements across multiple systems and vendors. Key Responsibilities Audit & Reconciliation:
Perform detailed audits of benefits vendor invoices against employee eligibility and enrollment records. Discrepancy Resolution:
Identify billing errors and partner proactively with vendors to resolve issues and secure credits. Data Validation:
Analyze data across multiple systems to ensure total alignment between internal records and vendor outputs. Process Improvement:
Develop and document standardized workflows for monthly invoice auditing and payment cycles. Vendor Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to streamline reporting accuracy and communication. Reporting:
Utilize data tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to support Total Rewards initiatives. Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. Professional Experience:
5+ years of experience in benefits administration or benefits analysis. Audit Expertise:
Proven track record of managing and auditing complex benefits vendor invoices. Advanced Excel Skills:
Mastery of VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas, and large-scale data analysis is essential. Technical Systems:
Experience working with HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g.,
SAP SuccessFactors ,
Bene fit focus , or similar). Analytical Mindset:
High attention to detail with the ability to spot trends and errors in dense datasets.
