Description / Position Overview
This role owns the on-site execution of large-scale, ground-up high-rise construction projects. The Senior Superintendent is responsible for managing all site activity, coordinating complex construction sequencing, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. This role exists to bring experienced leadership to highly complex high-rise builds where coordination, planning, and execution must operate at a high level.
What You’ll Own
Own on-site execution of ground‑up high‑rise construction projects
Manage construction sequencing, coordination, and daily site operations
Lead subcontractors and ensure work is completed to plan and schedule
Identify risks and resolve issues before they impact progress
Coordinate across trades, engineers, and project stakeholders
Ensure safety, quality, and timeline adherence across all site activity
Must‑Haves
Direct experience with ground‑up high‑rise construction (40+ stories)
Proven ability to manage large, complex construction sites
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination
Ability to lead teams and drive execution under pressure
Nice‑to‑Haves
Experience with NYC high‑rise projects
Background in large‑scale or multi‑phase developments
Experience working with ownership groups or developers
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days: Establishes control of site operations and project coordination, aligns teams and sets clear execution expectations.
First 6 Months: Project execution is stable, coordinated, and on track; risks are identified early and managed proactively.
Compensation
$80,000-$130,000 per year
