Interior Designer
to join our growing team in Menlo Park, CA.
This role is ideal for a designer with
5+ years of professional experience
who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, detail-driven studio environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, motivated, and passionate about residential design. You will work closely with the Principal on all aspects of the design process, gaining hands‑on experience in
creative development, sourcing, project coordination, and installations . This is a dynamic and integral role within a small, collaborative team, offering meaningful opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Principal and team on a wide range of residential projects
Contribute to design development, including concept creation and finish palettes
Support all phases of design, from initial concept through installation
Prepare and maintain detailed drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, and specifications
Source furnishings, materials, and finishes aligned with project goals
Assist with project coordination, vendor communication, and order tracking
Participate in client presentations and assist in preparing visual materials and mood boards
Support onsite activities, including installations and styling
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field
Minimum 5 + years of experience
in a residential interior design firm
Experience with renovations and new construction projects
Familiarity with construction documentation and job site coordination
Software & Technical Skills
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
Skilled in
Revit
or
Chief Architect
(3D modeling)
Seasoned in
Adobe Creative Suite
(Photoshop, InDesign) and
Canva
Experience using
AI Software
creating presentation materials
Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
Google Workspace
Solid understanding of space planning, interior architecture, and millwork detailing
Ability to produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive drawing sets
Core Competencies
Strong design sensibility with a keen eye for detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, self‑motivated, and solutions‑oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience sourcing and specifying materials, finishes, and furnishings
Additional Requirements
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel locally for site visits and installations
Salary:
$80,000 – $95,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Bonus potential based on performance
