We are seeking a full-time or project-based Interior Designer/Project Manager for a hybrid role (primarily in-office) based in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of the design process from initial concept through execution. Candidates must be fluent in AutoCAD and have a minimum of three years of experience working at an interior design firm.
Responsibilities
CAD drawings, creating and presenting design concepts, selecting materials and furnishings, project management, collaborating with clients, contractors, and vendors, preparing design plans and renderings, and managing budgets and timelines effectively.
Qualifications
Must have at least 3 years experience working at an Interior Design firm
Strong design skills, including space planning, color theory, and furniture selection
Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage budgets and timelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and other stakeholders
Knowledge of industry trends, materials, and sustainability practices
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
Attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
