Job Summary Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness in Thermopolis, Wyoming is looking for an
Admission Coordinator
for our community. As our
Admission Coordinator , you will be the first point of communication for referrals, families, and partners. Your professionalism, precision, and warmth will set the tone for a seamless and supportive transition into our facility.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for all incoming referrals, calls, walk-ins, and inquiries.
Coordinate admission documentation completion, insurance verification, and pre-admission authorization.
Communicate clearly and professionally with hospitals, case managers, residents, families, and internal departments.
Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates in Point Click Care CRM.
Facilitate facility tours, referral follow-up, and participate in conversion strategies.
Maintain strong customer service standards at every touchpoint.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to ensure smooth admissions.
Ensure empty rooms are admitted and tour ready on a daily basis.
Assist with marketing events, community outreach, and relationship development activities.
Education / Requirements
Experienced
– Prior SNF, rehab, or healthcare admission experience strongly preferred.
Detail-driven
– Organized, accurate, and confident managing multiple moving parts.
Customer-focused
– You communicate with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
Tech-savvy
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, Point Click Care (PCC), Insurance Portals (NaviHealth, Availity, UHC, etc), Hospital Referral Portals (AIDA, CarePort, Wellsky, EPIC).
Collaborative
– A team player who works well with nursing, clinical, and leadership staff.
Poised & dependable
– You bring positivity, composure, and reliability every day.
