
Oracle ERP Data Conversion Lead

This is a 6 month Contractor role.
Basic Purpose The Oracle ERP Data Conversion Lead will oversee and contribute to the team responsible for the design, development, execution, and validation of data conversions from multiple legacy systems into Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM. The primary responsibilities include defining strategy, planning/coordination, troubleshooting, and resolution of data migration issues throughout the project phases.
Essential Functions
Work/coordinate with stream leads and the project management team.
Develop/refine a comprehensive data migration strategy, including data mapping, data cleansing, and data validation.
Collaborate with all stakeholders to support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and post-go-live validation.
Develop a comprehensive conversion plan that incorporates all conversion tasks and their related pre-requisites and dependances.
Lead the execution of data migration tasks, working closely with the functional, conversion, and development teams.
Ensure error handling, logging mechanisms, and troubleshooting capabilities are implemented.
Drive performance optimization of data conversion processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
Ensure that the migrated data meets the required quality standards, including accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Validate the migrated data to ensure that it is correct, complete, and consistent with the source data.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology, or a related field, preferred.
5+ years leading conversion teams of various sizes
5+ years utilizing Oracle conversion/import methods including FDBI, HDL, ADFDI, and Import Objects.
Strong proven hands-on experience in the following conversion objects; Customers, AR/AP Invoices, Project Tasks, Contract Lines, Project Contract Billing, Suppliers, Banks, Workers, Tax Cards, Balances.
Functional knowledge of the modules which data is being converted into, including but not limited to AR, PPM, HCM (core HR, OTL, Payroll, Absences), Financials.
Technical knowledge and hands-on experience of Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP.
Technical knowledge of the underlying/supporting interface, error, processing, and validation tables.
Relevant Oracle certifications (if available) are a plus but not required.
Familiarity with the staffing industry, preferably within the Healthcare sector, is highly desirable.
