Superintendent

The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality across assigned projects. This role is highly autonomous and requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead day-to-day field operations and subcontractor coordination
  • Maintain project schedule and ensure daily/weekly milestones are met
  • Oversee site safety, enforce protocols, and conduct safety meetings
  • Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes
  • Conduct daily reports, site documentation, and progress updates
  • Manage inspections, quality control, and punch list completion
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and field teams

You are a seasoned Superintendent who thrives in the field and knows how to run a project from sitework through punch list. You lead proactively, communicate clearly, and maintain high standards of safety, schedule, and quality. You bring:

  • 8-15+ years of commercial construction field experience
  • Strong background in ground-up and/or major renovation work
  • Healthcare project experience preferred (not required)
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field coordination
  • Experience overseeing multiple phases of construction independently
  • Strong daily reporting, scheduling, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and digital field tools
