Personal Injury Paralegal
to join their growing team. The ideal candidate brings a strong litigation background, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to make a meaningful impact for clients navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Responsibilities
Manage and organize case files from intake through resolution, including pre-litigation and litigation phases
Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and correspondence
Coordinate medical record and bill requests; summarize records and prepare demand packages
Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court staff
Calendar and track deadlines, hearings, depositions, and statutes of limitations
Assist attorneys in deposition and trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination
Maintain case management software and ensure files are current and accurate
Qualifications
5+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury, with demonstrated knowledge of the full case lifecycle
Familiarity with South Carolina civil procedure and court filing requirements required
Experience with North Carolina courts and procedure a significant plus
Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or ACP/paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and minimal supervision
