Responsibilities
Run client engagements from start to finish, including all aspects of financial statement preparation, internal staffing, project scheduling and budgeting, engagement planning, and related administrative functions.
Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on audit processes and assess staff performance for engagement reviews.
Maintain outstanding client relationships, increase customer happiness, and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services.
Identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process with your audit team, encouraging creativity to grow expertise.
Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases, and employ audit software to review and compile financial information.
Engage with key client management to collect information, resolve audit‑related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
Qualifications
2+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience.
Experience working with clients in Food & Commodities, Metals, Supply Chain, Cannabis, Healthcare, Technology Media Telecommunications, Consumer Markets, Life Sciences, Real Estate & Construction, and Manufacturing.
Strong organizational, social, technical, and accounting/auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff, building positive relationships.
Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision.
Ability to multi‑task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may need to be performed concurrently.
Ability to conduct research on technical matters prior to submitting for manager review.
Must meet CPA education requirements in your home state; having a CPA license is preferred.
Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
