Job Overview
Are you looking for a seasonal job with an eternal purpose? Do you enjoy working with people and helping them find their calling? Samaritans Purse is looking for well‑rounded professionals who are passionate about the proclamation of the gospel to join our Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Seasonal Staffing associate team.
Responsibilities
Build a ministry‑aligned team to serve in the OCC processing center and take the love of Jesus to children around the world
Recruit, interview, and hire individuals for specific processing center roles
Build gospel partnerships with churches and like‑minded organizations to create a pipeline of ready‑to‑hire candidates
Provide administrative support in screening candidates
Ensure an excellent employee experience for all associate staff during OCC processing season
This is a full‑time (40+ hours per week, including some Saturdays) seasonal commitment that runs from early June through mid‑December. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, be eager to learn, and have a heart to serve in a hands‑on ministry. Screening requirements include skills testing, a social media review, pastoral and professional references, and a criminal background check (upon acceptance of offer).
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Attention to detail and an ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in handling phone calls and engaging in effective verbal communication
Self‑motivated and excellent work ethic
Ability to follow structured processes and keep accurate records
Ability to learn quickly and work well in a team environment
High level of discernment
