Assistant Manager, Speakers Bureau

to train and coach spokespersons and manage domestic and international speaking engagements for the ministry of Operation Christmas Child (OCC). Join our outstanding team and help fulfill our mission of taking good news of great joy to children all around the world!

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager, Speakers Bureau:

In the role of an

Assistant Manager, Speakers Bureau , you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him

Provide ongoing coaching and support to OCC spokespersons for speaking engagements and media interviews

Collaborate with various teams to develop and oversee promotional resources and equipping items for OCC spokespersons

Lead the processes, development, and assignment of OCC International spokespersons

Plan, organize, and execute annual OCC spokesperson training

Manage OCC spokesperson agreements and processes in partnership with legal and accounts payable departments

Assist with the mentorship of OCC spokespersons through ongoing engagement, monthly devotional writing and audio recording, weekly social media engagement, and daily prayer

Travel to national OCC events and support spokespersons at various events

Assist with budget review, data capture, and reporting

Lead Speakers Bureau development, training, and support in affiliate offices

Serve in a processing center for a minimum of one week during OCC processing season (Nov-Dec)

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Biblical Studies, Counseling, or related field; and two to four years related experience or missions experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (preferred)

Highly effective communication, coaching and presentation skills

General knowledge of writing stage scripts based on certain stories and messaging details

Ability to develop coaching communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

General understanding of cultural sensitivity and living conditions outside of the US, preferably through mission trips in different parts of the world
