
Sales & Retail Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Sales & Retail Operations Specialist responsible for supporting retail and digital sales operations across key accounts. This role plays a critical part in item set‑up, portal maintenance, sample coordination, reporting, and retail media support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines across customers, brokers, agencies, and internal teams. This position reports to the VP of National Accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Complete new item forms and manage item set‑up and maintenance across all retailer portals
Communicate with customers and brokers on item set‑up progress and ensure deadlines are met
Manage SKUs and map to new SKUs to prevent duplicate inventory counts for Amazon
Coordinate with Logistics and Supply Chain on inventory levels and order quantities for Amazon
Support agency coordination related to item set‑up, inventory accuracy, and digital readiness
Order and track product samples for customers, brokers, events, and internal needs
Assist with food show and event submissions, including new item portal forms
Attend weekly customer and broker meetings
Pull ad‑hoc reporting from customer portals for Sales and Operations teams
Support reporting related to financial dollars at risk, historical performance, launch tracking, and other retail needs
Pull and consolidate retail media reporting across key accounts
Track media performance, share of voice, budget pacing, and budget recommendations
Assist with campaign briefs and coordinate with design on content updates for retail media and digital shelf needs
Support sales team with comp shops and provide competitive analysis
Communicate with internal team and retail partners on the above topics, ensuring clear alignment between all parties
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in sales operations, customer operations, retail, or CPG
Experience working with mass retailers, retailer portals and managing customer forms/data
Excellent organizational skills
Action‑and detail‑oriented, ability to manage multiple timelines
Excellent communication and follow‑up skills
Collaborate well with others and work well in a team environment
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and external partners
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
Salary:
$55,000–70,000 annually, based on experience
Location:
Remote, or hybrid if in the SLC, UT area
