Business Analyst 5+ Patient Services Team AI AI, Agile, Jira and user story writing, PO support
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our agile release train supporting pharmaceutical initiatives.
This role will focus on patient services, system integration, and product and process optimization across cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, and cross‑functional teams to define and refine business requirements.
Analyze and document current and future state processes related to patient services, including onboarding, support, and engagement workflows.
Support integration efforts between internal systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, patient platforms) and external partners or vendors.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and PI (Program Increment) planning sessions.
Ensure alignment between product strategy and operational execution, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct impact assessments and support change management efforts for new features or process changes.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of patient services models and related technologies.
Experience with system integration projects, including APIs, data mapping, and vendor coordination.
Familiarity with product lifecycle management and agile product development.
Working knowledge of SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and process modeling software.
Preferred:
Experience working in a Release Train or Agile Program environment.
Background in compliance‑heavy environments (e.g., HIPAA, GxP) and understanding of data privacy and patient consent management.
