Product Marketing Senior Lead We are seeking a
Product Marketing Senior Lead
with strong content strategy expertise to shape the quality, distinctiveness, and impact of our blog, thought leadership, and broader content ecosystem.
Role Overview This role is designed for a
technically fluent PMM
who understands AI and enterprise software deeply and can translate that expertise into compelling, differentiated storytelling that captures attention and keeps audiences coming back.
You will operate as a
strategic storyteller, hands‑on content creator, and editor , personally developing high‑impact content while also identifying unique angles, elevating overall quality, and ensuring our work stands out in a crowded AI market.
Beyond surface‑level narratives, you will partner with subject matter experts, understand competitive positioning, and uncover the real story behind transformation—product innovation, people, process and operating model changes required to succeed.
Critically, you will be responsible for driving measurable impact, not just producing content. You will think deeply about how content attracts and grows an audience, increases engagement, and drives outcomes such as subscriber growth, repeat readership, and conversion across channels.
You will also leverage AI to accelerate content creation, generate new ideas, and build scalable tools (e.g., Gems, templates, workflows) that enable teams across marketing to produce editorial‑grade content more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities AI & Product‑Led Storytelling
Write and develop original, high‑impact content that translates complex AI and software concepts into:
Clear, engaging narratives
Compelling use cases
Differentiated positioning
Develop a deep understanding of Salesforce products and platform capabilities to clearly articulate:
What makes our technology unique
Why it matters in real‑world scenarios
Identify and develop distinctive story angles that highlight:
Product innovation
Real‑world applications
Customer value and outcomes
The people and process changes required for transformation
Editorial Strategy, Insights & Competitive Positioning
Develop and maintain an editorial calendar grounded in:
Audience needs
Product innovation
Market and competitive insights
Actively monitor competitor and industry content to:
Identify narrative gaps and opportunities
Ensure Salesforce leads, not follows, in defining key topics and positions
Interview subject matter experts, practitioners, and leaders to:
Extract insights, lessons learned, and real‑world nuance
Uncover stories that go beyond surface‑level success
Author flagship thought leadership, guides, and long‑form content that:
Builds a repeat audience
Feels editorial (not promotional)
Positions Salesforce as a leader in AI and the Agentic Enterprise
AI‑Enabled Content Creation & Scale
Use AI tools to:
Generate and refine story ideas
Accelerate drafting and iteration
Synthesize complex inputs from multiple stakeholders
Build scalable tools such as:
Gems
Prompt libraries
Templates
That Enable Content Creators To
Self‑serve high‑quality content
Maintain editorial standards
Multi‑Channel Storytelling (Blog, Video, Social)
Create and adapt content across formats, including:
Blog
Video
Social
Newsletters
Identify how to tailor stories for:
Different audiences
Different channels
Different levels of technical depth
Qualifications
6–10+ years of experience in product marketing, content strategy, or editorial roles, ideally in AI, SaaS, or technical domains
Strong understanding of AI, software, or enterprise technology concepts
Demonstrated ability to write and publish high‑quality, differentiated content that translates technical concepts into compelling narratives
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Proven ability to:
Develop distinctive story angles
Interview SMEs and extract meaningful insights
Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content
Experience incorporating competitive and market insights into content strategy
Experience or strong interest in:
AI tools for content creation and workflow acceleration
Building scalable content systems (templates, prompts, frameworks)
Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging content
Experience working cross‑functionally with product, marketing, and technical teams
