ACV is seeking a Business Development Representative I who is passionate about helping and enabling dealers as they make the first impression of ACV to new customers. If you are an ambitious, flexible, and dependable individual who enjoys engaging with customers, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Research new prospect dealerships and understand their needs to provide a customized onboarding experience
Communicate the ACV advantage, key differentiators, and value proposition to dealers
Speak with and motivate dealers and managers at dealerships
Walk dealers through the use of the ACV auctions platform (app and desktop), our policies, and best practices
Proactively communicate with new dealers via phone, email, and text/SMS
Collaborate with the Dealer Onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition of account information as the dealer moves into the next phase of partnership
Respond to leads and tasks in a timely fashion
Communicate effectively with field sales organization and adjacent departments
Capture key contact information and sales interaction data in Salesforce
Strive to meet and exceed all assigned key performance indicator metrics
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2 years of telesales experience in a B2B environment
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Self‑starter attitude capable of thriving in an entrepreneurial environment
Willingness to roll up sleeves and get stuff done while delighting customers
Call center or relevant sales experience is a plus
Experience in direct selling of commodity
on‑commodity products or consultative sales background considered
Team player and adaptable
History of winning awards for outstanding performance
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Sense of urgency and self‑motivation
Compensation
$20.00 per hour. At target performance, this position is eligible to earn up to $2,000 in additional monthly compensation pursuant to ACV’s incentive compensation plan. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other lawful factors.
