Associate Director, Hematology Regional Marketing (RMK) – East

This senior in‑market position focuses on commercial thought‑leader engagement to gain regional insights, bridge regional markets and headquarters, support brand strategy, provide speaker training and development, execute peer‑to‑peer educational programs, and support regional congress activity in the US Hematology/Cell Therapy organization.

Responsibilities

Work with cross‑functional teams to provide key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution.

Support the execution of approved Advisory Board.

Assist in identification of HCP consultants based on profile established by the approved Consultant Engagement Project Brief.

Facilitate, participate in, and attend advisory boards where appropriate.

Support disease‑state, on‑label and product conversations consistent with label using approved promotional messaging.

Engage with assigned TLs and solicit feedback as needed.

Participate in congresses and other industry meetings.

Conduct 1:1 meetings with HCPs.

Attend meeting sessions at congress.

Provide input and support in developing account plans for Sales Speaker Management and Engagement.

Identify and develop HCP Speakers to provide high‑quality compliant promotional education.

Provide refresher and follow‑up training to Speakers on approved materials.

Ensure appropriate and compliant execution of branded and unbranded speaker programs in compliance with BMS guiding principles.

Monitor speaker performance at live programs for evaluation of effectiveness.

Work with home‑office Marketing, Sales, and cross‑functional teams to provide customer insights on strategy, tactics, and messaging.

Assist in developing Home Office Brand Strategy and executing it in the regions.

Work in accordance with BMS policies and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing, field sales, or field medical.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Hematology or specialty therapeutics.

Bachelor’s degree required or higher.

Marketing, Sales Management, and / or launch experience strongly preferred.

Experience with thought‑leader engagement, advisory boards, and speaker’s bureau strongly preferred.

Proven ability to manage a large geographical territory.

Demonstrated ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and meet their needs.

Ability to inform strategies, develop tactics, and execute strategic plans under short timelines.

Strong business acumen; understands market dynamics, business drivers, corporate goals, and impact on strategy.

Clinical knowledge and aptitude in complex disease states; desire to learn continuously.

Effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Self‑driven with strong organizing and planning skills; able to determine effective approaches and act accordingly.

Ability to leverage interpersonal styles to gain acceptance of ideas or plans.

Highly collaborative and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Willingness to try innovative, novel compliant ways to address work problems and opportunities.

Business travel up to 70%, by air or car, regularly required.

Willingness to work evenings and select weekends required.

Compensation Overview
Field – United States – US: $166,350 – $201,571. The starting compensation range is listed above for a full‑time employee (FTE). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available.

Additional time off may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs, and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.
