The Practice Oliver Wyman helps industry leaders in the consumer, telco, and technology industries develop value growth strategies, improve operations, and maximize organizational effectiveness.
Role Senior Consultants and Associates are critical members of our consulting team, working side‑by‑side with our clients. The position offers excellent career and growth opportunities for highly motivated professionals with relevant prior experience.
Managing the execution of individual project workstreams, including developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation, and analyses.
Conducting primary and secondary research and creatively tackling information limitations.
Synthesizing findings into written presentations and reviewing them with clients and stakeholders.
Supporting the Partner group in project delivery through accurate and high‑quality execution.
Reporting to Engagement Managers and Principals, seeking guidance on technical expertise or senior‑level advice on project execution.
Coaching junior consultants and helping them develop their skill sets.
Desired Skills and Experience
At least 3‑6 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top‑tier strategy consulting firm or similar organization.
Experience within Retail, Consumer Goods, Telecommunications, Software/Technology, or Media industries (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL and Python.
Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in formal and informal settings.
An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
Willingness to travel.
Proactive initiative and creative thinking to generate novel solutions for client challenges.
Ability to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team.
